Humane Society of Huron Valley

For more than 125 years, the Humane Society of Huron Valley has been serving the community, saving animals and helping people. HSHV is still the only animal shelter in Washtenaw County, taking in all types of unwanted, injured, lost, stray, abandoned, and abused animals. Today, they help over 24,000 animals and their people through our array of services every year.

Food Gatherers

Food Gatherers is a food bank and food rescue program serving Wastenaw county. Their mission is to alleviate hunger and eliminate its causes in our community. Subaru of Ann Arbor and its team loves to volunteer here.

Fresh Start

Fresh Start is designed to empower people living with a mental illness. They have served the Ann Arbor community for over 23 years. They are driven by progresssive ideas and a strong foundation of community.

Friends in Deed

Friends in Deed helps families prevent ultility shut off, obtain prescription or other one-time medical need, and more. Another program have to offer is their furniture program and transportation program, whihc helps familes obtain basic furniture and helps with long term and short term transportation needs.

Give 365

Give365 gives volunteeres the opportunity to partner with GIVE365 to help clean up the local parks in Ann Arbor. There are over 162 park properties in the city of Ann Arbor.

Habitat for Humanity

Habitat for Humanity helps people in our community here in Washtenaw County to improve a place they call home. Their vision is that everyone has a decent place to live. They have built or renovated over 275 homes, completed over 9000 home improvemen projects, provided 6500 energy-efficient appliance replacements.

Community Action Network

Community Action Network envisions the closing of socio-economic gaps by providing educational and enrichment programs for children and teens, and supportive services for families who are under resourced.

Little Heroes League

Little Heroes League helps babies and their families when they are born with medical complexities. It is the only care coordination program embedded at top-ranked level IV NICUs across the U.S. They are an extension of the medical team and the family unit.

Over the years Ronald Mcodnald House Charities of Ann Arbor has welcomed over 26,000 families during difficult times. The provide care and resources they need.

Toys for Tots

The basic mission of the Marine Toys for Tots program is to collect new unwrapped and distribute those toys to less fortunate children at Christmas. They help bring the joy of Christmas and send a message of hope to the children.

Ypsilanti Meals on Wheels

Ypsilanti Meals on Wheels proides nutritious meals, social contact and other services to the homebound elderly, ill and disabled in Washtenaw County, to enable them to enjoy healthier, safer, and more independent lives.

Creature Conservancy

The Creature Conservancy is a non-profit zoological organization with the goal of educating people of all ages about exotic animals in order to promote a better understanding of the animals with which we share our world and therefore an interest in protecting the environment.
